For dive shops

The questions dive shops should be getting named for.

Dive kit has to fit and has to match, and buyers ask accordingly. That is exactly what an assistant narrows a list down by — and what a general retailer gets wrong.

What your buyers are asking

I need a 5mm wetsuit for cold water, men's medium — what do you recommend?
Which regulator should I buy for cold-water diving?
Are there any dive computers with air integration under $500?
I have a narrow face — which low-volume mask should I get?

Why the answer names somebody else

  • Sizing and material not exposed as structured attributes.
  • Compatibility (hose, port, thread) missing from the data.
  • No identifiers to distinguish model years.

Check your own site and you get exactly this, on your own business: a score for how well the assistants can read you, what's in the way in plain language, and — for questions like the ones above — whether you're named, somebody else is, or nobody is yet. Where you're not named, we tell you who was. We work out what you actually are before grading you, so you're never marked down for lacking something your kind of business doesn't have.
