What we read
Before you connect anything, Chorrus reads only what is already public on your website — the same pages an AI assistant would read. We do not access private systems, and we store no personal data about your customers from a public audit.
When you connect a platform
If you connect a store or another platform so we can publish fixes, we access what you have authorised — typically your catalog or site content — through that platform's API, to read and update it. We do not access customer or order personal data for that work. If you connect analytics, we read aggregate traffic and behaviour reports, never individual visitors.
What we keep
Audit and scan results, and before/after changes, so you can track progress over time. Raw AI-surface responses are retained for up to 12 months; change history is kept so every change stays reversible.
What we never do
We never sell your data or your customers' data, and we never use it to train third-party models. We never invent facts about your business on your behalf. Anything we publish about a category is aggregated and suppressed below a threshold, so no individual business's figures can be identified from it.
Your choices
You can request export or deletion of your account data at any time. Public report links are unlisted and set to noindex unless you explicitly make one public.
